Let the childcare staff do the ski school run

Kids off to ski school? The childcare staff will drop the kids off and pick them up when it’s over. They’ll ensure they’re settled into their class and collect them for lunch with the Kidz Club back at the Chalet hotel. At the end of the day, it’s back to the Chalet Hotel for tea.

For children that are not skiing and are booked into the childrens’ clubs then a mountain of fun and games both indoor and outdoor awaits daily.

Baby Club, for age 4 to 11 months @ £285 per week

The Baby Clubs provide a warm, homely and secure environment. The ratio is one nanny to two babies, ensuring that the little ones are soon settled and contended. Your baby’s day is organised to fit in with their needs and, wherever possible, to your times for naps, milk and feeds. So when your holiday’s over, you’ll hopefully be able to slip back into your normal routine.

Toddler Club, for age 1 to 2 years @ £285 per week

The Toddler Club is perfectly set up for this most inquisitive and lively minded age group. Throughout the day the team of lively and fun loving nannies will lay on a programme of games, stories, music and art to keep toddlers amused. Weather permitting, there are buggy outings and snow play for the older toddlers. Where possible, an effort is made to ensure that children have the same nanny all week, whilst the intention is also to adapt to your child’s usual daily routine.

Mini Club, for age 3 to 5 years @ £180 per week

The Mini Club is pure fun! Children will enjoy sledging, snowman building and exciting cable car rides – often with a stop-off for a cup of hot chocolate. The action continues indoors, with a full programme that includes arts and crafts, face painting and games. If you’ve a 4 or 5 year old who’d like to combine crèche activities with learning to ski, we can arrange additional ski lessons with drop-off and collection by nannies. In La Plagne, the Snowman Kindergarten ski school, is provided especially for 3 year olds.

Kidz Club, for age 6 to 12 years @ £150 per week

In the Kidz Club it’s all about action, with the emphasis on having fun in the snow. And if your children also want to ski, they’re still welcome to join in. Nannies can take them to and from ski lessons and bring them back for lunch with the others from the Kidz Club. For non-skiers there’s a packed programme of entertainment from sledging, snow sculptures, face painting, games and treasure hunts. The energetic nannies also supervise excursions such as bowling and ice skating for which there’s an extra charge.

Important Childcare Notes

Please note that this pick-up service only operates if tuition is booked as part of your holiday package.

Supervised lunches and high teas are included.

Day childcare is included for six days of the week from 9am to 5.30pm, with the exception of Kidz Club which runs later for five days, until 6.30pm, but closes at 1pm on Saturdays.

The chalet hotel crèches are fully equipped with essentials such as cots, high chairs, potties, sterilisers and a fridge. There is also a 24 hour kitchen facility for any late night feeds.

There is also an evening drop in crèche facility which runs from 7:30 – 11.00pm (except on Sundays) allowing parents to relax over dinner whilst the children enjoy quiet time supervised by nannies with a dvd and a story.

Private babysitting is also available at an extra charge but subject to availability.
