Overview

Hotel la Chaudanne is ideally situated in the centre of Meribel, and at the foot of the slopes. La Chaudanne offers warm and welcoming Alpine style accommodation for families and friends with more than a hint of luxury.

All of the 64 rooms have been recently redesigned and are available in a range of sizes and styles to suit couples, families and friends. Furnished with light exposed wood, new furniture and weaved fabrics in warm tones, they successfully blend an alpine atmosphere with contemporary luxury. Most rooms have balconies and all come with a private bathroom with hairdryer, plush bathrobes and slippers, NUXE amenities, flatscreen television, WiFi, minibar and safe.

As a guest here you can enjoy the many facilities, adults can relax in the NUXE spa or enjoy a drink in the cosy bar. Children and teens can be kept entertained in the kids area and games room – which is supervised during the holidays. In fact children are also welcome in the spa with a specially created menu, and of course the indoor pool is for all to enjoy.

The NUXE spa offers a true sensory experience with its range of massages and beauty treatments and there is also a fitness room for the more energetic.

Room Types & Amenities

Small Room (12m² to 14m² loft room with Velux blinds): Suite with a double bed or two single beds, and a shower room, without a balcony.

Standard Room (16m² to 18m²). Suite with a double bed or two single beds, a bathroom or shower room. Most of the rooms have a balcony. The option to configure inter-leading rooms.

Standard South-facing Room (18m² to 20m²). Suite with a double bed or two single beds, a bathroom or shower room. All of these rooms have a balcony with the view over Mont Vallon, south orientation. The option to configure inter-leading rooms.

Superior Room (24m² to 28m²). Spacious suite with a double bed or two single beds, a lounge area, bathroom or shower room. Most of the rooms have a balcony. Some rooms can accommodate a child up to 12 years of age – contact the bookings desk. The option to configure inter-leading rooms.

Family Room 3 persons (25m² to 30m²). Room with a double bed or two single beds, a bathroom and/or shower room. Separate area with a single bed. Some rooms do not have a balcony.

Family Room 4 persons (28m² to 30m²). Room with a double bed or two single beds, a bathroom and/or shower room. Separate area with two single beds. Some rooms do not have a balcony.

Deluxe Family Room 5 persons (54m² to 57m²). Suite able to accommodate up to 5 guests, with two possible configurations:

Spacious room with a double bed, lounge area, bathroom and balcony + Second spacious room (windowless) with three single beds, and a shower room.

OR

Spacious room over two floors. Ground floor with a lounge, shower room and balcony. Mezzanine opening up over the lounge with one double bed, a bathroom and separate toilet. A loft room with three single beds and a balcony.

Dining 

A buffet breakfast is served each morning.

The hotel’s restaurant “Le 80” invites guests into its cosy surroundings and serves classic French dishes with innovative twists.

The hotel bar is the perfect place to relax after a day in the great outdoors and has a great range of cocktails.
