Overview

Chalet Hotel Breithorn in Champoluc is a charming, traditional, alpine hotel which has been beautifully restored and modernised, all the while keeping the traditional Alpine features and character in-tact.

The chalet hotel is a flat walk to the 6-person gondola in the village centre. The ski hire shop at the gondola station will store your skis or boards (whether hired or your own) overnight to save carrying them the short-walk to the Chalet Hotel.

There is a spacious lounge with a small bar and reception area with an open log fire, beautiful carved vaulted wooden ceilings and comfortable furniture on which to relax. The pictures on the wall add a distinguished air and traditional Alpine decorations will remind you that you are in the mountains.

Off the lounge is a small library with a selection of books, perfect as a quiet place to read. There is also a sun terrace, on which you can enjoy some late afternoon sun and an apres ski drink at the end of the day.

The restaurant is on the lower ground floor and is spacious and tastefully decorated, in accordance with the rest of the property. This is where all meals are taken including the highlight of the day, our Culinary Choice 5-course dinners, all served with quality wines.In addition the Chalet Hotel also has a Wellness Centre with sauna, steam room, whirlpool and massage showers which we are sure will be appreciated by our guests.

Dining 

Breakfast is continental every day and on six mornings there are cooked options for you.

Afternoon tea and cake will be laid out for you upon your return from skiing and there is also a savoury treat.

In the evenings our chefs will cook you a three-course meal six nights a week. Before your meal, there is a glass of prosecco and canapes served in the bar. The three courses consist of an appetiser, main course and dessert – with unlimited complimentary red, white and rose wine during service! There is also an option for vegetarians.

The evening menu is a set menu. There is a choice of appetiser, main course and dessert or cheese and your order is usually taken in the morning and then is served to your table.

On the staff one night off per week just a continental breakfast is provided and it’s a great opportunity for you to experience some local restaurants in your resort. Speak to your resort representative or Chalet Hotel Manager for recommendations and help with reservations.
