Overview

The Omnia is sits in the very heart of Zermatt, perched 45m high on a rock above the town. It has a beautiful south facing sun terrace and 60-seat restaurant which offers amazing views of the Matterhorn.

You enter the hotel by passing through a tunnel, travelling up via a private glass elevator, rising through the rock from ground level. As you reach the hotel you are greeted by a contemporary styled mountain lodge with smart and sophisticated furnishings.

The hotel has just 30 Scandinavian designed bedrooms offering plenty of space, 12 of these are suites some of which have big bay windows, a private Jacuzzi and sauna. All rooms have the same contemporary Alpine style and are finished to a high quality.

Queen Room: 24 sqm/258 sqft. 1 x queen.

Queen rooms are basic and sleek with comfortable double beds, a small cosy chair, a TV, wardrobe and an ensuite with a shower. Queen rooms also have a west-facing balcony.

Double Room: 37 sqm/398 sqft. 1 x king.

Double rooms are spacious and comfortable with a large king size bed, plenty of storage space, a cozy chair and a modern ensuite bathroom with a bath and/or shower. Each double room has a private balcony with views over the rocks or Zermatt itself.

Double Deluxe Room: 50 sqm/538 sqft. 1 x king.

Deluxe double rooms are particularly spacious for just two guests. Each room comes with a comfortable king size bed, plenty of storage space, a cozy chaise-longue and a modern ensuite bathroom with a bath and/or shower. Some of the ensuites have quirky wooden bathtub. Each deluxe double room has a private balcony with views over Zermatt or the Matterhorn.

Corner Suite: 68 sqm/732 sqft. 1 x king. 

Corner suites are spacious and bright with balconies overlooking Zermatt and the mountains. The suite comprises of a comfortable lounge and a separate bedroom. The master bedroom features a king size bed, chaise longue and an ensuite with a deep bathtub. There is a second bathroom with a W.C and a shower.

Village Suite: 72 sqm/775 sqft. 1 x king.

Village suites are spacious and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the Zermatt village. The bright suite comprises of a lounge with a sofa, TV and plenty of storage space and a separate comfortable bedroom. The bedroom includes a king size bed, chaise longue and an ensuite with a deep slate bathtub. There is also a private dressing room and a second bathroom with a shower.

Matterhorn Suite: 70 sqm/753 sqft. 1 x king.

Matterhorn suites are bright and airy with a balcony overlooking the amazing Matterhorn mountain peak. The suite includes a spacious lounge and a stylish ensuite bedroom. The lounge features cosy sofas and armchairs, a desk, table and a TV there is also a second bathroom with a shower. The separate bedroom features a king size bed and an ensuite with a bathtub.

Omnia Tower Suite: 90 sqm/969 sqft. 1 x king.

The Omnia Tower suites are particularly stylish with a balcony overlooking the amazing Matterhorn mountain peak. The lounge is the focal point of the suite with a corner sofa, roaring fireplace, telescope, kitchen surfaces and a set of table and chairs. The bedroom is extremely spacious with a king size bed, chaise longue, wardrobe, dressing room and a modern ensuite with a bathtub. The suite also includes a second bathroom with a W.C and a shower.

Omnia Roof Suite: 110 sqm/1184 sqft. 1 x king.

The Omnia Roof suite is the penthouse and features luxurious touches to give you an excellent stay. The room is particularly stylish and comfortable. Not only does the suite have a balcony overlooking the amazing Matterhorn but the large picture windows offer sweeping views of the Zermatt valley. The lounge comprises of comfy sofas, a wood-burning stove and fireplace and even a telescope so you can take in the night skies. The bedroom includes a king size bed, chaise longue, spacious wardrobe, dressing room and a modern ensuite with a bathtub. There is a second bathroom with a W.C and a shower and the suite also boasts its own private sauna.

Dining

The Omnia Restaurant: The hotel restaurant is heavily focused on quality. The chefs use only the finest local and seasonal ingredients. You can enjoy your meal in the restaurant, in the cosy library next to the fireplace or in the privacy of your own room.

The Terrace: There is no place we would rather be, on a sunny day, than the Omnia terrace, looking out to the Matterhorn.

Lounge Bar: The Omnia’s library and lounge bar is a great spot to enjoy a pre-dinner drink in cosy surroundings.

Board Room: A place to unwind in peace, with your favourite cuppa and some gorgeous accompaniment from the kitchen.
