Overview

Built in 2005, the huge A-Rosa Resort Kitzbuhel is a five-star family hotel. From the outside it gives the impression of a traditional Tyrolean castle style hotel but once inside it has a more modern urban design and a resort style ambiance. This vibrant hotel has 151 rooms and suites that are stylishly furnished with lots of warm colors, marble, tile and black and white pictures of mountains on its wall. All the rooms are ample in size and some have spectacular views of the mountains (some admittedly do not but we will advise you of the rooms to get when you book!).

The suites are quite contemporary in style, and generally the bigger they are, the more modern and urban they feel, yet there’s still touches of Alpine throughout. The largest of the suites is the A’Rosa suite which features two separate sleeping areas a living room with an eating area, a spacious sitting area and a breathtaking views of the mountain.

The A-Rosa has two main restaurants to choose from, a fine dining steakhouse and the Restaurant Streif which has a huge buffet at breakfast and dinner. Drinks and snacks are also served at The Bar at the Market Place & Smoker’s Lounge or the Terrace Bar which has fantastic views of the valley and the Tyrolean mountains.

A-Rosa hotel has an extensive spa and wellness center with numerous themed saunas and steam baths, 22 treatment rooms with views of the Alps, waterbeds, a huge gym, and large heated indoor and outdoor swimming pool. They also offer Yoga and fitness classes. There’s also an exclusive Kerastase hair salon.

A-Rosa Resort Kitzbuehel has plenty of facilities for families. The Rosini’s kids and youth club provides supervised activities for children ages 3 to 12 and is open daily from 10 am to 7 pm with extended hours during the holidays. For teenagers aged 12-15 there’s a Ragazzi youth club. You can also request for babysitting services for an extra charge.

Dining

The gourmet restaurant – Heimatliebe has been awarded three Toques and 17 points by Gault Milau, the head chef Andreas Senn combines exclusive Austrian products with international menus of the ultimate culinary standards.

There is also the cosy restaurant ‘Monti e Mare’, restaurant ‘Streif’ serving fresh ingredients from their buffet, the ‘Bar at the Market Place’ to enjoy a cocktail and the terrace bar which delivers fantastic views alongside an apres ski drink.
