Overview
Aman Le Melezin offers the kind of modern luxuries, fine dining, and spa treatments which give you no doubt as to whether the 5 star rating is merited. From its location (situated on the side of the Bellecote ski slope that runs into the heart of Courchevel 1850), to its facilities and dining options, every aspect of your stay has been though through to the finest detail.
Designed to resemble a medieval Savoy fortress, Aman Le Melezin, this hotel has been furnished in a fashion that typifies Courchevel 1850 whilst combined with the Aman resorts culture; alpine elegance with a distinctly Asian ambience. The word that comes to mind is ‘decadence’.
Red cedar planks and parquet flooring give it a warm, ski-lodge feel, while the linen carpeting and granite bathrooms offer touches of modernism. The bathrooms are spacious, as are the rooms, with many boasting balconies.
One cant hel’p but completely relax in the The hotel’s spacious wellness area, boasting a hammam and heated swimming pool. After some pampering, what better way to begin your evening than with a hand crafted cocktail, followed by either traditional French cuisine or authentic Thai cooking.

Dining
Le Nama is the hotel’s restaurant and by day light floods in and you can enjoy a delicious breakfast with a view of the slopes. Each table is laid with a gorgeous bakery basket and you are provided with a different breakfast starter every day such as fresh fruit, yogurt and brioche. You are then invited to choose an item from the a la carte menu such as cold cuts, omelettes, smoked salmon and porridge, fuel to get you started for the day ahead!
Aman Le Melezin operates on a half-board basis so breakfast is included in the room rate and you can choose lunch or dinner either back at Le Nama or at one of their chosen partners including Le Chalet de Pierres, Le Festin at Les Airelles, La Folie Douce, La Table du Jardin Alpin, Piero TT and Le Coin Savoyard at the Hotel Les Airelles.
By night Nama is a hotspot in Courchevel, transforming into a glamorous Japanese restaurant available to guests and non-guests. Master chef Keiji Matoba is at the helm, using only the finest ingredients and local ones where possible. I mean a Japanese restaurant in our hotel? Could it get any more perfect for me.
