Overview
Chalet Hotel Abendrot is one of a kind in Ischgl – it is the only property run by a UK tour operator on a chalet hotel basis.
It is however a very authentic chalet hotel experience.
The chalet is ideally situated between two of the main ski lifts, the Silvrettabahn and the Fimbabahn (both under 400 m). It perches slightly above the centre, yet it is still within reach so that it is very much be part of the resort itself (and all that it offers). The route to the Fimbabahn is made even easier for guests by an indoor ‘travelator’ that moves skiers for at least half the distance. At the end of the ski day, you can enjoy a cruisy red run (run No 1), brings you to within 50 m of the chalet.
The hotel itself offers a modern interior with the bar area being the main focal point on the ground floor. This is where guests enjoy pre-dinner canapes and prosecco. The dining area is separate and there’s an alcove area where afternoon tea is served on a can help yourself basis. The dining room is tastefully decorated with wood-panelling with an attractive colour scheme throughout.
There is a steam room as well as traditional and infrared red saunas and a relaxation area with loungers.

Glacius says…
“We love a visit to the Abdendrot and we know you will too. It is a fantastic option should you like the chalet hotel model commonly found in the French resorts. It also is almost certainly the best value offering if you are travelling from the UK. Although operated by a UK tour operator, rather than the traditional Austrian family run hotels, none of the authenticity is lost. The meals are cooked to a high standard and the location is simply ideal”
