Overview

The Crystal Lodge is a boutique hotel situated in an enviable location in Whistler Village. The Crystal is literally just a few steps from Whistler and Blackcomb Gondolas as well as the Telus Whistler Conference Centre.

The hotel offers a personalised service, very comfortable rooms and an array of amenities to keep everyone occupied, including a heated outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness room, high-speed internet, heated underground parking and complimentary ski valet . The building itself offers over 20 onsite retail shops and restaurants (guests at the Crystal are offered a discount on all outlets).

Rooms wise – there is a wide range on offer, from comfortable twin or double rooms, one, two and three bedroom suites, loft suites as well as a selection of deluxe rooms and suites. Each suite offers a kitchenette.

Basalt, the hotel’s recently opened restaurant plates up gourmet European and International cuisine accompanied with a large variety of regional wine. As well as the main dishes, the restaurant offers some incredible platters overflowing with cured meats and cheeses.

Due to its central location, and the tendency for hotels within this area to experience a bit of noise from late night revellers, the Crystal Lodge has installed double glazed windows for those rooms overlooking the village – we always endeavour to secure our clients the quietest of rooms!

Crystal Double Room

The Crystal rooms are the standard hotel rooms here and this room includes two comfortable doubles. Each is equipped with usual in-room facilities such as a desk, TV, mini bar, iron etc and comes with a stylish modern ensuite. These rooms offer views of the village stroll or surrounding area.

Crystal King Room

Max occupancy: 2x Adults

Area: 20 sqm/220 sqft

Beds: 1 x king

The Crystal King Rooms have been recently renovated and include a comfortable king bed, a flatscreen TV, writing desk and a tea/coffee machine. The ensuite bathroom is equipped with a deep tub, wide sink and complimentary toiletries. These rooms offer views of the village stroll or surrounding areas.

Deluxe Studio (2 x Queens)

Max occupancy: 6x Adults

Size: 45 sqm/480 sqft

Beds: 2 x queens and 1 x pull-out sofa

The deluxe studio suites are great for those who want a little more in terms of self-catering facilities. Each studio comes with a well-equipped kitchen with a microwave, fridge, sink, kettle and a coffee machine. These studios have two queen beds and a sofa bed in the lounge area. There is also an ensuite bathroom with a bath/shower combo. These rooms offer views of the village stroll or surrounding area.

Deluxe Studio (1 King Bed)

Max occupancy: 4x Adults

Size: 43 sqm/460 sqft

Beds: 1 x king and 1 x pull-out sofa bed

These studios are spacious and comfortable with ample room to accommodate up to four guests. The open-plan rooms feature a king size bed, sofa bed, TV, writing desk and a small kitchenette. The studios also include a smart ensuite bathroom with modern facilities and complimentary toiletries. These rooms offer views of the village stroll or surrounding areas.

Deluxe Loft Suite

Max occupancy: 4x Adults

Size: 70 sqm/750 sqft

Beds: 1 x queen and 1 x pull-out sofa bed

The Loft Suites are great for couples wanting extra space and comfort. Split over two floors, these suites comprise of an open-plan living area on the lower level, with a lounge and a kitchenette (and the main bathroom). This is where you can kick back and relax after a day on the slopes. The lounge can also be used as a further sleeping area as it is equipped with a pull-out sofa bed. The upper level contains the master bedroom with a powder room ensuite. These rooms offer views of the village stroll.

One Bedroom Suite

Max occupancy: 6x Adults

Size: 63 sqm/675 sqft

Beds: 1 x queen + 1 x pull-out sofa bed

Perfect for large families, the one-bedroom suites are spacious but don’t offer the most privacy. There is one master bedroom which is separate from the living area, but the other bed is a sleeper sofa situated in the lounge. The living space is also equipped with a kitchen and dining table great for a self-catered stay. The bathroom is smart and modern and comes with complimentary toiletries. These rooms offer views of the surrounding village areas.

Two Bedroom Suite

Max occupancy: 6x Adults

Size: 106 sqm/1140 sqft

Beds: 1 x king, 1 queen or 2 x singles and 1 x pull-out sofa

For those wanting more space and privacy, the two-bedroom suites are a great option. There are two closed bedrooms, one king and one queen or twin room and a pull-out bed in the lounge. The kitchen in this suite is also particularly large and well equipped and there is a dining table and comfy sofa. This suite also boasts two bathrooms, a fireplace and a balcony. These rooms offer views of the village stroll.

 

Dining

Ric’s Grill: Located in the main lobby of the 4 Star Crystal Lodge. Ric’s Grill Steak House is a visitor and local’s favourite, serving dinner 7 days a week.

Old Spaghetti Factory: Whistler’s best dining value for money. All inclusive meals, friendly service and a garden side patio, the Old Spaghetti Factory is located in the south lobby and is open at 11:30 am daily, 7 days a week.

The Mix: Whistler’s newest hot spot. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the mix combines a great patio with a retractable roof and a funky lounge that is a popular apres spot.

Citta’s Bistro and Bar: Whistler’s favourite people watching patio. Located in the village square, the legendary Citta’s (pronounced Cheetahs) is voted Whistler’s best destination year after year.

Crystal Lounge: A great place to meet up with friends. Enjoy your favourite sporting event, or hang out with the locals. Open 3 pm-1 am. 7 days a week.
