Overview
Boasting a fantastic location in the heart of Banff, at the intersection of Elk Street and Banff Avenue, the Elk & Avenue hotel is two blocks from the downtown centre – just a one minute walk from the where the regular free ski shuttle picks up from.
After a major renovation (and rebrand) in 2016, the Elk & Avenue hotel offers a simple yet modern design. Its lounge area maintains a real mountain feel with vintage imagery and great swathes of wood.
The renovation also resulted in a wonderful wellness area with a sauna, steam room and hot tub.
Ricky’s All Day Grill offers some seriously hearty breakfasts lunches and dinners should a walk into own be that little bit too far for tired ski legs.
For apres-ski drinks, visit the RG’s Lounge with its stone fireplace and casual pub food.
