Overview

Nestled in the snowy centre of La Clusaz, the Hotel Alpen Roc is just 300 metres from the closest ski lift. The Savoyard decor brings the best of nature inside; pale wood, exposed stone and faux fur trimmings along with plenty of natural light and open fire focal points make this a top ski hotel. It’s nothing too fancy, just well designed and welcoming.

The hotel includes your drinks, an absolute rarity in the ski world. You get complimentary wine and beer on tap all day and spirits are also available in the evenings.

The terrace overlooks the village with some fantastic views – the perfect spot to spend a few hours with free wine and beers. If you can tear yourself away from the terrace, the bar area upstairs has a huge central fireplace and pool table alternatively there’s an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and hammam to enjoy at your pleasure.

Dining 

The hotel’s popular restaurant also enjoys far reaching panoramic views over to the pistes and beyond, and is an excellent place to experience the very best of Savoyard fare.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all prepared on site using fresh local produce, with fully inclusive rates including some alcoholic drinks and snacks being available.

A buffet-style breakfast is served from 06:30 until 10:00, which offers a comprehensive range of bread and pastries, juices, fruit, eggs, bacon, cereals, yogurts, etc.

Afternoon tea is served from 16:00 with a selection of delicious cakes, brownies and muffins.

The evening meal is a great opportunity to enjoy popular regional specialities from the local area. Special dietary requirements can be catered for on request, when we are informed ahead of your stay.
