Overview

The Beaulieu is a nice timber clad hotel, equipped with 56 rooms, with many of them offering a panoramic view onto the mountains and the village of La Clusaz. The theme of the hotel’s interiors uses natural wood and stone, emanating vibes of simplicity and authenticity throughout.

The Beaulieu offers free access to the indoor swimming pool of its sister hotel (Le Carlina) as well as its spa (at an extra cost). The Carlina sits just 30 metres from the Beaulieu.

The restaurant, again, 30 metres away in the Hotel Carlina is open to guests of the Beaulieu all winter. It offers a delightful selection of local dishes on the dinner menu and a hearty breakfast every morning.

Winter activities such as skiing and snowboarding can be easily reached as it is located 400 metres away with a free ski storage room available in our partner’s shop: Sport 2000 – Ski Service, located next to two main departures of ski lifts. With a free ski bus (stop at 100 metres) you can do cross country ski in “Les Confins”, a beautiful place where several Cross Country World Cups were based.

Room Types & Amenities

North Facing Rooms: Without balcony, they have a limited view but inspire the warmth of the alpine atmosphere.

Rooms with Balcony: The balconies give a view on the Aravis range.

Family Rooms: Catering for up to 5 people, they have various layouts and exposures.

Dining

The hotel bar is full of stone and wood. It is a warm and wonderful place to enjoy the alpine atmosphere in front of the beautiful view of the Alps, especially as you sink into the leather club chairs.

Breakfast each morning is a wonderful treat. A dazzling array of pastries, different sorts of fresh breads, cured meat, fresh cottage cheese, local cheese, cereals, dairy products – including the chef’s delights: cookies, ‘canneles’, or other cakes brought out of his inspiration. For drinks also, there is a copious choice: coffee freshly ground, a range of teas and herbal teas, hot chocolate, cold and hot milk and several varieties of fruit juices.

An ample breakfast is served buffet-style with hot drinks, various fruit juices, pastries, different sorts of fresh breads, cured meat, fresh cottage cheese, local cheese, cereals, dairy products, fruits salad – in the restaurant of the hotel.

For lunch or dinner, on half board basis (daily menu) or ‘a la carte’, the restaurant of the hotel Carlina next door welcomes you.
