Overview

The beautiful Berthod hotel and its 35 rooms sit right in the heart of Courmayeur village, just 750 yards from the popular Dolonne and Courmayeur cable car. The rooms are furnished with a traditional Valdostan style as well as being equipped with all the modern amenities.

The rooms range in size and comfort with standard rooms all the way up to suites and apartments on offer.

The hotel features a very comfortable communal lounge area and modern bar for you to enjoy and there is also a separate breakfast room in which a plentiful buffet is set out every morning, including local produce and specialities.

The Les Crottes Spa boasting a saun and jacuzzi is a wonderfully relaxing sanctuary after a day on the slopes and with the hotel also featuring a conference room, WiFi (provided throughout the hotel as well as access to the hotels fitness room), car parking, and ski storage, the hotel seems to have most things covered.

Room Types & Amenities

Family Suite

These rooms are ideal for families. They are split on two levels and have a double or twin beds downstairs and a sofa bed in the mezzanine. They all have a small balcony and bathroom with a bath. Like the other rooms, they are complete with: telephone, LCD television with Sky TV, mini-bar, desk and Wi-Fi, sleeps max. 4 or 5 (approx. circa 38 m²).

Junior Suite

This room is divided into two separate areas: a smaller day area for reading or watching TV and a night area with a double or twin beds, and three small south-west facing balconies. Two of these rooms have recently been refurbished and the bathroom fitted with a shower, while the other decorated in a classic style and has a bath. Like the other rooms, they are complete with: telephone, LCD television with Sky TV, mini-bar, desk and Wi-Fi, bathroom with shower or bath, sleeps max. 3 or 4 (approx. 26 m²).

Deluxe

In all, we have a total of 8 Deluxe rooms located in the annex that was opened in January 2012. Each one is fitted with the necessary comforts: telephone, LCD television with Sky TV, mini-bar, desk and Wi-Fi, panoramic balcony (except one which has a small garden) and bathroom with shower, sleeps max. 2 (approx. 26 m²).

Superior Room

Our Superior Rooms all feature a small balcony and, whether furbished in a classic or modern style are always elegant and comfortable (approx. 20 m²). They are complete with telephone, LCD television with Sky TV, mini-bar, desk and Wi-Fi, sleeps max. 2

Standard Room with chair bed

This room sleeps up to a maximum of 3. It has a double bed or twin beds and a comfortable chair bed (approx. 22 m²). These rooms also have: telephone, LCD television with Sky TV, mini-bar, desk, Wi-Fi bathroom with shower or bath, sleeps max. 3.

Standard Room

Our Standard double rooms are ideal for guests seeking simplicity without forgoing comfort. They are mostly decorated in a classic style, although it has no balcony it is spacious (approx. 20 m²) and fitted with telephone, LCD television with Sky TV, mini-bar, desk and Wi-Fi, sleeps max 2.

Dining

The restaurant at Hotel Berthod serves up a good cold buffet breakfast each day and the staff are happy to cater to allergies and dietary requirements where possible.
