Hotel Central, is, as the name suggests, sits in the centre of Engelberg. It is a friendly and welcoming 3* hotel and a makes for a super destination for a ski weekend in the powder snow capital of Switzerland. The bus stop to the slopes just one minute walk away.

Hotel Central has a relaxed feel to it, helped by its simple interior design. Rooms are comfortable and have everything you need.

Attached to the hotel is the popular Old Monk Bar which is visited by both the locals and skiers.

The hotel’s restaurant, the Spice Bazaar is an authentic Indian Specialty Restaurant where you can feast on traditional tasty Indian delicacies prepared by the in-house Indian Chefs.

Single Room

Newly remodeled in 2013 the single rooms at Hotel Central are comfortable and well equipped keeping your needs in mind. The rooms have a working desk, cupboard, Flat Screen TV and Free WiFi. The bathrooms are en-suite with basic amenities such as Hairdryers, toiletries and storage space. Although situated in the centre of the town, the rooms boast a beautiful view of the Swiss mountains.

Standard Room

Cosy and comfortable, the standard rooms are designed keeping your needs in mind. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms equipped with a shower, hairdryer and toiletries. The rooms are spacious ranging from 18 to 25m2. All the rooms have spectacular views of the mountains and equipped with a wardrobe, desk, Mini bar, Flat screen TV’s etc to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Newly remodeled in 2013, the Superior Rooms are truly luxurious and spacious. All The rooms have en-suite bathrooms equipped with shower, hairdryer, toiletries and ample storage space. The rooms range from 25 to 30m and are outfitted with all the modern amenities along with breathtaking views of the Swiss mountains.

Recently renovated, the deluxe family rooms have magnificent views of the Snow-capped Mountains. Dine at the Spice Bazaar, an Indian Specialty Restaurant at Hotel Central where you can feast on traditional mouth-watering Indian delicacies prepared by our in-house Indian Chefs.

Restaurant: Take your taste buds on a culinary journey across India by choosing from our specially designed menu highlighting the best Indian cuisine from different regions in India. Classic dishes such as Goan prawn curry and Tandoori chicken served on a sizzling platter are some of the customer favorites. These can be accompanied by aromatic basmati rice or freshly prepared Naan baked in a traditional Indian tandoor (clay oven). Sip on a refreshing mango lassi to cool down while enjoying the blend of Indian spices in every dish. A specialty at spice bazaar is our in-house creation of Cheese fondue with an Indian twist.

The selection of wines has been designed keeping in mind texture and flavors which will complement the Indian cuisine.
