Overview

Located in the heart of Corvara, Hotel Col Alto is a traditional, family friendly hotel offering easy access to the Dolomiti Superski and the Sella Ronda ski areas. The location couldn’t be better – just 400 metres from the Boe gondola, which means you can head straight out and get on the fantastic Sellaronda ski area.

The high standard of finish throughout the hotel can accurately described as modern with an alpine slant. There is a wide variety of rooms and suites at the Col Alto which all have an Alpine style warmth and fabulous views of surrounding Corvara. The lobby with its picturesque fireplace and the hotel bar are great places to kick back and relax and enjoy a drink. For a slightly more upbeat atmosphere, the Iceberg bar will deliver, as will its cocktails.

As a family friendly hotel, little ones are well catered for with a mini club and two games rooms containing a mini cinema, indoor climbing wall, games consoles and more.

For those who like to relax after a hard day’s skiing, or for non-skiers, the 1000sqm wellness area will not disappoint. The spa and indoor swimming pool share a wonderful backdrop of fabulous mountain views. Facilities include a Turkish bath, tepidarium, Finnish sauna, aromatic herbs bath, sea salt steam grotto, hydro-massage footbath, ice fountain and a gym as well as a wide range of treatments offered in the spa.

The hotel’s gourmet restaurant specialises in regional specialties with local flavours and products alongside typical Italian and international cuisine. To cater for different diets there are also options for vegetarian, gluten free or the ‘light’ menu.

The adjacent complex is connected to the main complex by an underground passageway. That’s also where all of our amenities are located, including solarium rooms, mini gym, gaming room, wellness facilities, tavern and the “Stua Ladina” restaurant (open only in the winter,) ski room or storage room for bicycles, and garage. The adjacent complex is managed as part of the total hotel complex, and has the same category as the Sport Hotel Panorama.

 

Dining

Restaurant: The hotel restaurant specialises in regional gastronomic specialities. The half board option includes a buffet breakfast and a 4-course dinner in the evening. Offers options for different diets such as a ‘light menu’, gluten free or vegetarian.

Hotel Bar: With comfortable chairs and a cosy fireplace, an ideal place to enjoy a glass of wine or a hot chocolate.

Cigar Lounge: Decorated with Chesterfield armchairs this is a relaxing smoking room where you can enjoy a drink.

Iceberg Lounge Bar: A vibrant bar to enjoy cocktails or bubbles, great for some apres ski fun.
