Overview

Sitting right at the bottom of Obergurgl’s 110km of pistes the Hotel Hochfirst occupies a wonderful location. Stroll to the main gondola or, if you don’t fancy a 30 second amble, catch the drag lift up and ski down. Even the night skiing is on your doorstep.

Built in 1934, the Hotel Hochfirst is one of the oldest hotels in Obergurgl, being renovated over time into an impressive 5* residence. The decor is elegant and stylish yet still preserves its historical charm with the beautifully furnished rooms making you feel like you’re at a more luxurious version of your own home.

This Austrian hotel is well known for its excellent 1500 square metres of wellness spa; a large heated indoor and outdoor swimming pool, an array of different saunas (including an outdoor Tyrolean sauna hut), a steam bath, a saltwater steam grotto, waterfall and infrared cabins. A perfect place to admire the views and relax those legs after a day skiing.

This is all before even mentioning the rave reviews that the restaurant gets with it six-course evening meal and exceptional wine cellar. The open fire in the Kaminecke, the massages, the live music or the fully supervised kids club.
