Overview

The recently refurbished Hotel La Rouja sits just down the road from the Frachey lift station giving access to the whole Monterosa ski area.

In refurbishing the hotel, the owners have used plenty of local wood and traditional materials and the end result is a charming boutique style hotel with a family friendly atmosphere. The Lorenzo family are incredibly welcoming.

The entrance level is a reception area leading to the cosy dining room and the basement comprises a large lounge/bar area with wood burning stove and comfy seating to relax in.

The La Rouja has just 13 rooms which all vary in size and aspect. Most rooms have a hydro-massage shower whilst the two largest suites have baths. Some rooms also have their own small steam facility built in to the shower cubicle.

There are no single rooms but twin or double rooms can be occupied by one person at a supplement.

Suite

In the Suite of the La Rouja Hotel you can experience moments of pure relaxation in a refined atmosphere. As a backdrop to this dream, comfortable and spacious suite is the wooden architecture and the typical furniture from the Aosta Valley.

Superior

The Superior rooms of the La Rouja Hotel have been specially created to satisfy the needs of your family. They are large, spacious and comfortable and they are ideal for couples and their kids.

Standard

The rooms of the La Rouja Hotel offer the opportunity to rest in a refined and cosy atmosphere with great attention to details. The architecture and the furniture, exclusively made of wood, are built in the typical mountain style of the Aosta Valley.

Dining 

The large and bright restaurant enjoys a stunning view from both sides.

In this warm and welcoming environment guests can taste carefully prepared dishes with typical regional and national products. There is also an “a la carte” menu for the most discerning guests. The hotel also has an excellent wine cellar.

There is also a bar which is open daily from afternoon apres ski through to midnight.
