Le Blizzard is one of the most popular hotel in Val d’Isere and it is just so easy to see why.

As well as being right in the resort centre and only 100m from the pistes, the hotel is incredibly charming and comfortable – it really does allow you that home away from home feel with its sumptuous sofas and roaring fires in an alpine chalet setting.

No package holiday companies offer Le Blizzard – as such the clientele is different – more international and dare we say it, sophisticated.

The bedrooms are comfortable and wood-clad in a traditional chalet style; many of which have been recently renovated. Some have their own fireplace and all are decorated in a mountain-inspired fashion.

The wellness facilities are state of the art – and offer a real haven in which you can’t help but relax. The Clarins spa offers a wide range of massage and beauty treatments. The outdoor heated swimming pool and hot tub, Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna are just wonderful. And if skiing isn’t enough exercise, the hotel also has a fully Technogym equipped fitness area. There are also morning yoga and stretching lessons on offer (reservations required).

The Blizzard restaurant serves cuisine fresh from the market whilst the hotel’ second restaurant ‘La Luge’ serves local Savoyard specialities.

Luxury Room – 28-33 sqm with a living corner and a balcony with mountain or village views

Luxury Superior Room – 35 sqm with a living corner and a balcony with village views

Junior Suite – 37-51 sqm with a living area and a balcony with mountain or village views. Village view Junior Suites also have bunk beds for 2 children in a separate cabin.

Duplex Suite – 42 sqm over two floors with a double bedroom, separate a living room, bunk beds and a large balcony with mountain views

Suite – 41 sqm with a double bedroom, separate a living room, bunk beds and a large balcony with mountain views.

2 bedroom suite – 47-82 sqm with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a separate living room and a large balcony with mountain or village views.

Dining 

Le Blizzard Restaurant

Enjoy lunch or dinner overlooking the Bellevarde slopes. Run by chef Patrice Durand, this lovely restaurant serves gourmet French cuisine.
