Le Kaila, as the first and only 5 star luxury hotel in Meribel, offers a unique experience. Situated right in the centre of Meribel, Le Kaila has a superb location, only 50m from the main lifts accessing the entire Three Valleys ski area.

The design of the hotel is both modern and traditional alpine. The hotel offers 38 rooms of which 20 are beautiful suites, some with their own Jacuzzi and hammam.

Le Kaila is fast gaining a reputation for gastronomic excellence with a Michelin star being awarded in 2015. With its celebrated chef Laurent Azoulay, it offers exceptional cuisine, with influences from the mountains and Laurent’s home turf – Provence. Truffle lovers will not be disappointed! And for an apres-ski cocktail or coffee after dinner, the lounge bar is the perfect spot.

Le Kaila boasts many services and facilities, including an on-site ski shop with ski hire, a concierge service and even a butler service if desired – designed to make your stay as relaxed as possible. Just pop on your skis and onto the slopes you head, making this a skiers dream location.

Guests will want to try the Kaila Spa by Nuxe. A 500 m² haven with a beautiful pool and aquatic facilities including water massage seats, a waterfall, a marine circuit and geysers. A wide selection of treatments are also on offer.

Elegance Room

Comfortable room for up to two people measuring 25sqm with a small living room with two armchairs. A subtle combination of wood and warm tones. Bathroom has bath only.

Signature Room

Comfortable room of 30-34sqm for up to two people with a small living room with two armchairs. A subtle combination of wood and warm tones. Bathroom has bath only. Balcony.

Privilege Room

A cosy room of 35-38sqm with a small open living room with two armchairs. A subtle blend of fur, wood, satin and colour. Bathroom has bath and separate shower. Balcony.

Exception Suite

A fabulous mountain-style suite with breathtaking views of Meribel. The suites measure 72sqm and offer spacious separate living area with sofas, a dining table and woodburning stove. The master bedroom has its own dressing room and the bathroom has a large spa bath and steam room.

Charm Junior Suite

Slightly bigger than the Prestige Junior Suite (46-54sqm), this is a suite for 2 guests with some rooms able to include an extra bed for one person, ideal for a child. Features include a spa bath and separate shower, dressing room and lounge area. The balcony has a mountain view.

Prestige Junior Suite

Junior suite measuring 41-46sqm with comfortable and beautiful living room with convertible sofabed. Separate dressing room. Some rooms in this category have an extra bed, ideal for one child. Bathroom has bath with separate shower and TV.

Alpine Junior Suite

Lovely junior suite, full of character with old wooden beams and measuring 38-40sqm. Open plan living room with either two armchairs or a sofa, facing the fireplace. Separate dressing area. Bathroom has spa bath and separate shower. Balcony.

Family suite 3 people

Junior Suite with a comfortable and beautiful living room with a sofabed and additional sofa opening onto the main room. Additional small bedroom with its own TV. 54-56sqm.

Family suite 4 people

Family suite 70-85m2 consisting of a bedroom for two children with its own bathroom (bath only) and a suite with separate lounge for parents. The spacious living room has a sofabed, sofas and a dining table. Additional bathroom with bath, separate shower and TV. 70-95sqm.

Suite Kaila

Suite Kaila (115sqm) is mountain-style suite with breathtaking views over Meribel. The open-plan dining area has a bar and a small kitchenette. The spacious lounge has a cosy corner sofa facing the fireplace. Each of the two bedrooms has a small seating area – one has its own dressing room and a bathroom (bath only). The other bedroom has a bathroom with its own spa bath, steam shower and a TV. Balcony with mountain view.

Suite Ekrin

The Ekrin suite measures 130 sqm and has an open plan dining and lounge area with a fireplace, kitchen, three double en-suite bedrooms, an office area and balcony. Decorated in a modern design with limed wood.

The Apartment Kaila

This mountain-style suite (190m2) consists of three bedrooms with balconies providing fabulous views over Meribel. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and the master bedroom is located upstairs, with its own spacious living room with woodburner.

Chalet Kaila

This vast chalet measuring 295sqm consists of five bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and magnificent views of Meribel and the surrounding mountains. The large open plan dining room has a bar area and spacious lounge with fireplace. Three of the bedrooms and a junior suite are on the lower level, with the master bedroom upstairs, with its large living room.

 

Dining

Breakfast is served in a buffet style with show cooking and a choice of sweet, detox or organic products.

The restaurant L’Ekrin is a gastronomic delight and has one Michelin star, evening meals can be taken in here or in the restaurant Brasserie Le 80 in La Chaudanne next door.
