The 3 star Hotel Le Refuge is located in the heart of Tignes Le Lac resort, just 50m from the ski lifts. The hotel was originally built in 1924, and today, is a wonderful chalet-style hotel with onsite restaurant, bar and spa.
The situation is also ideal for those taking lessons with the ski school meeting point not even 100 metres from the property.
The hotel is decorated in keeping with the simple and rustic build of the hotel, with warm wood surrounds and warm colour schemes creating a cosy atmosphere.
The hotel has 26 guest rooms and 7 suites/family rooms, all of which have been recently renovated. The boast en suite bathrooms, free Wi-Fi and a balcony to gaze out at undisturbed mountain views.
We should not forget to mention the wellness facilities which are most welcome after a hard day skiing; they include a sauna, hammam and hot tub.
Breakfast is served daily in the dining room on the top floor, which offers, as well as a wonderful view, a varied spread.
