Overview
Hotel Le Val Thorens was one of the first hotels to be built in Val Thorens. It has recently been renovated, however in doing so, many of the original aspects of the hotel were preserved – leaving a beautiful blend of natural wood and beamed ceilings blend together with both vintage and contemporary furniture.
The rooms have been redesigned for maximum comfort, all of which offer superb views of either the slopes or the village. The rooms are decorated with light wood furnishings with many boasting balconies. All rooms have the facilities in keeping with a recently renovated 4 star hotel.
As well as a sunny terrace, the hotel has a very cosy lounge bar, which is perfect for drinks both pre and post dinner.
The hotel has two restaurants to choose from; La Fondue and Le Val Thorens, both offering a different culinary delight. Le Val Thorens restaurant has a south-facing sun terrace where you can enjoy lunch right by the piste. At both lunch time and in the evening, Le Val Thorens offers tasty hearty brasserie-style dishes. La Fondue, as the name suggests, serves up classic local specialities such as fondue, raclette and tartiflette, all in a cosy Alpine restaurant setting.
The golden spa offers ancient Asian therapies, a sauna, Turkish bath, and the resort’s largest indoor swimming pool. The pool area is served by a panoramic view of the slopes, which only adds to the sense of escape.

Glacius says…
“We love so many things about Le Val Thorens – the easy piste access for sure but most notably, the ability to create a wonderfully informal atmosphere as well as all you would expect from a high end 4* hotel in the Alps. One of the cosier hotels!”
