Overview

The centrally situated Hotel Perren, firs opened its doors in Zermatt in 1939 and sits just 200 metres from the Sunegga funicular station and 500 metres from the resort’s main railway station.

This charming 3* superior hotel boasts with 70 rooms, offering a range of single, double and triple rooms, some with Matterhorn views.The Perren family embarked on a major renovation in 2000, resulting in the hotel being completely transformed and modernised.

In the morning, guests enjoy a generous buffet breakfast, and for those on half-board, the restaurant serves traditional Swiss cuisine including regional specialities of the Valais.

The resort also offers a large lounge area with fireplace and piano, a rustic bar, games room with billiards table and a new wellness area featuring a sauna, steam bath and fitness room.

The hotel also operates a free bus shuttle service to the Matterhorn cable cars.

The a la Carte restaurant was renovated in 2008, and is quirky – funky cow-hide stools and delicious food.

Basic Double Room: Basic double room (19 m2), north-facing, some with balcony, with a view of the mischabel group, bath/wc or shower/wc.

Comfort Double Room: Comfort double room (24 m2) east- and north-facing, with a view of the mischabel group, with shower/bath and wc.

Deluxe Single Room: Deluxe single room (19 m2), north-facing, some with balcony, with a view of the mischabel group, bath/wc or shower/wc.

Apartment: 4 ½ room apartment (110 m2) with the matterhorn view, consisting of three bedrooms, a living room and kitchen.

Triple Room: Triple room (31 m2) with a pull-out sofa and double bed, balcony, seating corner, shower / bath and wc.

Deluxe Double Room: Deluxe double room (29 m2) with two single beds, seating corner, south-facing balcony, shower/bath and wc.
