Overview
The Hotel Punta Maquignaz is an elegant family run hotel which was built in the 1950s. Renovations took place in 1998 and 2004 to allow for a modern, attractive feel.
The hotel sits just 60 metres from the Crettaz draglifts, close to the nursery slopes and ski school meeting place as well as the centre of the village.
It is certainly one of the more attractive hotels in the resort, both outside and in. Blending creature comforts with remnants of a bygone era, you will find lots of hunting memorabilia past down through generations of the Maquignaz family, as well as the traditional mountaineering equipment that adorns the walls. The Maquignaz family were known mountain guides prior to building the hotel!
The Ymeletrob cocktail bar is a busy meeting place, and the hotel also offers a fitness centre with Jacuzzi and sauna.
From the trophy room guests can admire the majesty of the Matterhorn, while relaxing reading a book and sipping a tea or an infusion chosen from a wide selection. There is WiFi throughout.
