Overview
It’s hard to find a better location than this hotel, on one of Chamonix centres main streets with everything you need right at your doorstep.
Hotel Richemond was built in 1914, and it has been run by the same family for 3 generations now. The hotel’s exterior doesn’t fail to impress and once inside, many of the original architectural elements still remain visible today.
There are 52 rooms to choose from, spread over 5 floors, some of which have been recently renovated. Ranging from single, double/twin, triple and quad bed configurations, all of the rooms have ensuite bath or shower facilities and views of Mont Blanc or the Brevent. There is also a junior suite that sleeps 2 people, with its own private lounge area and superior double/twin bedrooms that have private balconies with mountain views.
The residents lounge bar area on the entrance floor boasts an open stone fireplace and a wonderful space for relaxing at the end of the day. The main Chamonix centre bus stop is just a short walk away giving you convenient access to all the ski lifts.
