Overview

Hotel Totem boasts an enviable position in Flaine Forum, approximately 100 metres from the nearest lift and you can literally ski to the door. The hotel is the first offering from Terminal Neige brand and has been completely refurbished to a very high standard, which many guests believe surpasses its 3 star status.

This newly refurbished hotel maintains much of its original design (the building is a Brutalist concrete structure – don’t let that put you of!), and inside, the vintage furniture colourful woven rugs, coupled with and animal fur, the trendy lighting and roaring fireplaces and lastly the huge picture windows make it a real place of comfort.

The hotel has 96 rooms that vary from standard doubles to spacious lofts sleeping from 1 to 6 people. Each room is decorated in its own custom style, again drawing inspiration from Native American culture: think graphic prints, cowhide accents, and sliding glass doors opening onto private balconies. Suites have separate seating areas, but there’s nothing over-the-top here.

As well as a generous buffet breakfast, the friendly hotel restaurant serves both lunchtime and dinner options, with plenty of flavours and styles of cuisine to delight the palate. In addition, the hotel bar is a welcoming spot for a cosy hot chocolate or apres ski cocktail.

The Pure Altitude Spa at the Totem hotel opens its doors with 3 treatment rooms providing signature treatments dedicated to skier wellness. Visitors can also enjoy the outdoor Jacuzzi, sauna, relaxation room and fitness centre.

With its southern exposure, this room allows you to enjoy a panoramic view of the mountains. Ethnic fabrics and arty frescoes give the club rooms a warm and urban atmosphere. Complimentary Spa access. This large south-facing room offers an exceptional panoramic view of the mountains. It has a seating area that can accommodate an extra guest. Decor touches of Indian-inspired wool curtains make the space cosy while a fresco created by a street artist and inspired by the Hourloupes of Jean Dubuffet give the room a quirky flair. Complimentary Spa access. This XXL suite is ideal to gather with family or friends. It consists of a master bedroom equipped with full bathroom with shower and bath and 2 bedrooms each with their own bathroom. A large living room with fireplace, bar and a large dining table allow you to relax in complete privacy. Your private south-facing terrace allows you to enjoy a view of the mountains. Dining 

The bar area is situated in the hotel lobby and serves fabulous hot chocolate and a range of cocktails in front of the open fire.

The kitchen area offers a generous buffet breakfast as well as an all-day coffee/croissant bar in the Corner Bodega. At lunchtime there is a full a la carte snack menu including hearty burgers and pasta dishes, which can all be enjoyed on the sunny terrace.

Dinner is quite unique; a variety of flavours and cuisine offers something for all taste buds including regional Alpine specialities, a healthy corner, a soup bar, Italian cuisine, a Kid’s Corner and the warm and welcoming Les Cocottes de Mamie Fernande, which offers homely casseroles and traditional French comfort food.
